Sweet dumpling squash pie

Crappy cell phone pic before the staff meeting! No pie left afterward! I picked up a butternut squash and two sweet dumpling squash at the grocery store last week not really knowing what to do with either kind. After some googling, I decided to make the sweet dumpling squash into a pie! It turned out fantastic and with no added sugar! Just a cup of pure maple syrup. My coworkers said it was yummy. I use them as my cooking experiment guinea pigs all the time. I would like to try and get the next pie to set up a little better. I think I mixed the filling too much. I have enough squash puree to make 3 more of these. Now to find something to do with the butternut squash.
